Organic and Hard Surface Topology and Material Behavior Study

This project was designed to achieve a high-fidelity Mid-Poly asset by relying solely on optimized topology and PBR material response, bypassing the traditional High-Poly to Low-Poly baking workflow.

All bevels, curves, and surface noise variations follow a compositional hierarchy based on shape frequency (Large, Medium, Small). Macro-shapes define the asset's silhouette and primary visual flow, while micro-details provide high-frequency information that directs the viewer's attention to key focal points, ensuring a balanced texel density across the entire model.

Foliage was implemented using optimized alpha-plane placement to achieve a visually rich, organic appearance while significantly reducing the total polygon count for real-time performance.
